Web 3D should create an experience, not block access to content
Three.js makes it possible to create visualisations, configurators and interactive worlds directly in the browser.
Separating essential content from the graphic scene
A successful 3D experience must nevertheless remain compatible with the rest of the product. We separate essential content from the graphic scene, plan an experience suited to mobile and keep an eye on asset weight, GPU load and energy consumption.
This website is the demonstration
Every page on this site has its own scene, loaded after the content. Headings, text, links and forms stay in HTML: without WebGL, without JavaScript or with the “reduce motion” preference, the site remains complete. The scene pauses when the tab is hidden, and its quality drops if the device struggles.
Storytelling rather than decoration
3D then becomes a tool for storytelling or interaction rather than costly decoration.
