Technical write-ups drawn from problems we actually encounter

This blog is not meant to publish daily to “feed Google”. We focus on content that can help a developer, a website manager or a business owner make a decision.

Where our topics come from

A good topic can come from a difficult migration, an error encountered in production, an indexing problem or an architectural choice.

  • Budget for a custom web application

    Budget for a custom web application: what determines the cost, orders of magnitude, how to reduce risk and the running costs to anticipate.

  • Cost of a PrestaShop store in 2026

    Cost of a PrestaShop store in 2026: build, theme, modules, connections, hosting and maintenance. The budget items and the pitfalls to avoid.

  • How to choose a web agency

    How to choose a web agency: the questions to ask, the signs that reassure, those that should raise a red flag, and what a good quote must contain.

  • Web agency or freelancer?

  • Why Symfony for a business application

    Why choose Symfony for a business application: stability, security, long-term support versions, ecosystem, and the cases where another choice is better.

  • Taking over an abandoned web project

    Taking over an abandoned website or application: recover access, audit the code, secure it, then decide between fixing, gradual takeover or a rebuild.

  • Website that generates no customers

    Your website generates no customers? A diagnosis in four questions: is it found, understood, credible and easy to contact? The fixes to make first.

Preferred formats

  • lessons learned;
  • in-depth diagnosis;
  • comparison with explicit criteria;
  • tutorial based on a real case;
  • migration analysis;
  • explanation of an error and how it was resolved;
  • before/after measurements when they are reproducible.

What we avoid

Generic articles of the “10 tips for a successful website” kind, with no experience or original information. They give the reader little and are exactly the kind of interchangeable content Google encourages publishers to move beyond in 2026.
